CRICKET:

Cricket is the only way of entertainment for the youngsters in village and Cricket literacy in village is about 100%.  Currently there are three teams consist of seniors/best players (A team) less experienced  (B team) and for juniors (C team). All the three teams are formed in a way that each and every player gets opportunity to play “especially in tournaments matches” 

Usually there is one big tournament which is arranged in village in each summer where all the players get chance to show their skills in front of home audience, in last year home team lost in the final due to darkness fall in the evenings. According to official sources of team the tournament was cancelled this year due to the lack of water availability with not much rains this season. It is expected that youngsters will have the chance to show up their skills in next year, which is going to be held at the same menu.

History:

Cricket is the only game that is played here, but playing as team started long time ago. Now each year team use to participate in more than three tournaments in each year.

Other than road another venue is also available in form of banni cricket ground near Ban Lake. The venue is famous for test cricket. The last test matches played here were highly competitive both the teams fight up till the last day of match with the result on the board.
